Welcome to City Slice Pints + Pizza!

Owner Stephen Hightower, who also owns local favorite, City Pork brings another unique culinary experience to Baton Rouge. Located at the North Gates of LSU is City Slice Pints + Pizza, “a bright red pizza joint that offers thin crust pizza either by the Slice or the Whole Pie.”

The pizzas are distinguished by an imperfectly round, hand-tossed thin crust topped with one of our three homemade sauces: a traditional red sauce, a white sauce and—thanks to the proximity to LSU—a purple sauce, which is a spicier version of the classic red sauce. Then chef sprinkles a unique blend of Romano and Mozzarella cheeses—from there City Slice offers an array of traditional toppings, like pepperoni, salami and Italian-spiced ground beef. But we are known for our more unique toppings—such as, Duck Bacon, Andouille, BBQ Pork, Garlic Clams, Boudin, Alligator Sausage and more! The restaurant offers around 10 specialty pizza combinations, a build-your-own pizza option—or if you are looking for a quick bite, just grab a City Pork Slice, a quarter of a pizza (2 slices).

And don’t worry if you aren’t in the mood for pizza, City Slice has plenty of other options like our Hot Fries, Mozzarella Sticks, daily Calzone specials, Chicken Parmesan Po-boy or our popular—Italian Hot Beef Sandwich, complete with a fresh Italian loaf, pickled peppers made on location, and au jus for extra flavor.

To quench your thirst, we have 15 different beers on tap–and because we love our local brews, we have dedicated 8 of the 15 taps to rotating varieties from around the state.

So come on in and grab a slice and a pint and see what everyone is talking about!
